Beatriz Vasconcellos

Beatriz Vasconcellos is an expert in Demos Helsinki’s Transformative Governance team. In her work, Beatriz focuses on foresight and policy design and implementation. Her expertise lies in bringing implementation and innovation to public policies, facilitating stakeholder engagement, prototyping and scaling up projects and advising governments on the development of long-term capabilities. Prior to Demos, Beatriz accumulated experience in implementing innovative management approaches in the private and public sectors. Most recently, she worked as a Harvard Bloomberg City Leadership Initiative fellow on the implementation of the Innovation Track, as a policy advisor to Togo’s Minister of Technology and Digital Transformation and the Rwanda Development Board. She is also passionate about bringing inclusive lenses to public policies and management.

Beatriz holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Brazil.
