Ana Paula Penchaszadeh
Ana Paula Penchaszadeh is a political scientist, Catedrática (Full Professor) at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and Independent Researcher at CONICET (Argentina’s National Scientific and Technical Research Council) and the School of Interdisciplinary Advanced Social Studies (EIDAES), National University of San Martín (UNSAM). She holds two PhDs – in Philosophy (Université Paris 8) and in Social Sciences (University of Buenos Aires) – and specializes in the intersection of migration, human rights, and political subjectivation. She participates in several international and regional research projects on migration, such as MIGMOBS (ERC Horizon) and CAMINAR AMÉRICAS. She has also worked as a consultant for UN agencies (IOM, UNHCR, UNDP, UNICEF) and national public bodies. Her recent publications focus on migrant political participation, access to rights, and the ethics of solidarity and hospitality.
