Gabriel Gualano de Godoy
Gabriel Gualano de Godoy currently serves as the Representative for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in North Macedonia.
Previously, he held the position of Chief of Mission in the Dominican Republic. Prior to this role, he served as Senior Protection Officer at the UNHCR Office in Mexico and has undertaken protection-related functions in Brazil, Uganda, and Costa Rica.
Gabriel holds a Juris Doctor in Theory and Philosophy of Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Brazil. He also earned a Master’s degree in Law, Anthropology, and Society from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Brazil.
