Costas Douzinas is Professor of Law at Birkbeck, University of London. He is a
founding member of the Birkbeck School of Law, the Birkbeck Institute for the
Humanities, editor of the journal Law and Critique and managing editor of Birkbeck Law Press. He was elected MP in Greece and was the Chair of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Defence and Foreign Affairs (2015-2019). His many books, translated in twelve languages, include The End of Human Rights; Human Rights and Empire; Nomos and Aesthetics; Critical Jurisprudence, Resistance and Philosophy in the Crisis;
