Maha Mamo

Maha Mamo is an expert in statelessness and refugee rights, a public speaker, and a powerful advocate for human rights. Born stateless, she overcame nearly three decades without a nationality, transforming her personal struggles into a global mission. Maha’s tireless efforts have influenced legislation in thirteen countries, ensuring protection for stateless individuals. She has participated in 45 UN events across more than 20 countries and is one of the 70 global refugee experts for the 2023 Global Refugee Forum. A Knight medal recipient, multilingual speaker, and author, Maha continues to fight for a world where everyone belongs.
