Mr. Aleksandar Godzo
He graduated from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” – Skopje in 1998. He has been a lawyer since 2001. Founder and partner of the law firm Godzo, Kicheec and Novakovski. Member of the Bar Association of the Republic of North Macedonia and the International Bar Association (IBA). Godzo has years of experience in advocating and resolving disputes before domestic and international institutions such as ICSID at the World Bank Washington, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia – ICTY, European Court of Human Rights – ECHR. He is a member of the Main Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce of North Macedonia. Member of the group for strategic advocacy at the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association, Co-author of the Legal Skills Manual and the Legal Skills Handbook. Lecturer and trainer in the field of law. National tutor at the Council of Europe’s HELP program. Aleksandar Godzo has experience in research projects and projects for strengthening the capacities of the judiciary (Project for technical support of the Academy for Judges and Prosecutors, development of indicators for measuring the performance of the judiciary, development of indicators for measuring the capacities of the public prosecution, Support for development of unified judicial practice in Macedonian law, etc.).
